Course Description

The seminar begins with an introduction to academic writing and presentation techniques. We will also provide a short overview on basics necessary for understanding the literature (e.g., how user studies are described). The seminar then focuses on current interaction technologies and methods. The list of topics will be presented in the first session of the seminar. The course language is English.

Course Objectives

  • In-depth study of a human-computer interaction topic on a 5th semester undergrad level
  • Skill development in research, presentation, and write-up of a topic
  • Exprience debating scientific questions
  • Developing an insight into current interaction methods and technologies
